Typically teachers and instructional assistants spend lunch time with students in the cafeteria. Volunteering for Lunch Room Duty will give them time in the middle of the day for lesson planning and lunch.
Volunteers may help serve lunch items, monitor the lunch line, make sure every student has food, and help tidy tables between grades.
Dates/times when volunteers are needed:
Tuesdays and Thursdays
Shift 1: 10:30-12:15 (PreK, K, 1st)
Shift 2: 12:15-1:30 (2nd-5th)
Volunteering in the Media Center will help this space remain organized for students to continue borrowing books and exploring a love of reading.
Volunteers may re-shelve books or locate books requested by teachers.

Wednesdays
7:30-9am or 1:30-2pm
